Give it a thought. How do you see your life as? Perhaps to you, life is like a vacuum cleaner. Or maybe, you see your life as a cup of coffee, or even a box of chocolates.

To me, life is like an ocean. It can be calm and still, or rough and stormy.

When I was in Primary School, life was going by so smoothly. I, Pat Yuan Teng, was known as every “teacher’s pet”. I was the class secretary, a PE monitress, a school prefect, a CCA leader, etc. I was well-liked by my peers. People in school knew me – my face, my name, although I may not know who they are. I always had friends by my side – countless of them. Life was going by so easily. It was rare for me to be going through any hardship since everything was so positive. The ocean in my life was calm and still.

As I moved on to Secondary School, I thought life would be as smooth sailing as how it was in Primary School. I genuinely believed that, but I was wrong. Initially, during the first few months, school was alright. Words such as ‘Reliable’, ‘responsible’, ‘sweet’ were continuously used to describe me. However, those compliments didn’t last for long. Things started changing and slowly, it felt like I fell into a nightmare I couldn’t wake up to.

The ocean in my life started becoming rough and stormy. As days passed by, rumors about me started spreading around school. “Yuan Teng, always flirting with guys.” “Yuan Teng, can’t even help me with my assignment well.” “Yuan Teng, EEEEE.” Deep inside, I was flaring. Me, flirting? Me, being nice enough to volunteer to help you with your work, yet getting the blame for not doing it to your expectation when I’ve already done my best? You guys, talking about me when you don’t even know me, and when I don’t even know who you are? It was simply ridiculous!

So yes, life is like an ocean. But in the end, it’s always beautiful.

No words can describe how beautiful my days back in Primary School were. Then again, no words can describe how “ARGH” my Secondary School days were. Just a few years’ difference marked two peaks in my life – the positive and negative peaks.

But I must admit that these experiences have taught me important lessons in life which cannot be learnt just by knowing it. I’ve learnt how people can actually behave, and how influential they can be. I’ve learnt how to be nice, and how to be fair. I’ve learnt how to not judge a book by its cover and to look things beyond the surface. All these can only be learnt through experiences and the hardships I went through in Secondary School birthed into lessons about life for me.

Alas, I'm glad the storm is over. I'm happy for the person I am today. In a way, everything was a blessing in disguise – a tough, long, and draggy one that taught me what cannot be taught through mere education and changed me for the better.

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some people just stand you up. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you and continue walking with you. And more often than not, these people are the uninvited ones.

There were so many people I have met in life. Some who were hypocrites – speaking sugar-coated words in front of me but verbally stabbed me so hard in the back. Some who chose to stick with me, despite knowing that they may be dragged into the mess I am in. And some who were in the same boat as me. In life, you really don’t know who will be the ones to stick by you through thick and thin. The one you thought will be your “lifetime friend” may just be the first to leave you in the lurch.

Life is like walking through snow, every step shows. For all the things I’ve went through, it cannot be erased. Every single experience is like a footstep in my journey.

However, life is also akin to a novel. You are the author of your own story and every day is a new page. With every lesson learnt, I’ll be wiser, and know what to do when it comes to flipping to a new page and writing down a new chapter in the story.

But remember, life is fair. No one person will walk the easy lane in their life forever. You may be struggling now, but it will get better. I do not know when exactly or how, but it definitely will improve. I believe that there is a balance of good and bad in our lives. Life may not go according to what you want it to be, but it will all turn out fine in the end. Many times in life, you just have to let nature take its course and see what happens next. You never know, a pleasant surprise might await you in the future.

So now I ask again, do you see life like a vacuum cleaner, because it sucks? Or do you see it as a cup of coffee, where it can be bitter, but also sweet. Or would you see life as a box of chocolates, where you never know what you are going to get?

Nobody said life was going to be an easy ride, but it will definitely be worth it.

Tertiary education is starting to be so much of a bitch to me.

Firstly, I've screwed up my speech yesterday.
Grammar mistakes, blahblah. Overall, I got a B.
I can't afford to screw up anything else for Character Education since I'm confident of not being able to do well for the test. Sigh..

Secondly, Language & Literacy is crossing the line.
Okay, it IS my fault in the first place for not checking OLIVE for the template for lesson plans. Having to reprint the lesson plans the first time was my fault.
But, giving last minute lectures and providing last minute information about the template? So I have to remove the things I've thought of and RE-REPRINT the lesson plans? Wasting my ink and my money man.

Then here comes the best part. You said our web and KWL was all right when we consulted you just a week ago. Now, you tell us our theme is too generic and everything has to be redone. I mean wtf man. I spent hours on the damn web on the freaking comp. I spent hours thinking of what to do for your damn lesson plans. Now, just a few words from you and I have to REDO the whole stinking shit?! Is this even fair? Considering you didn't even give clear instructions to begin with. All I have was a few sentences in the assessment descriptor, together with a set of rubrics. I mean, wtf, seriously?

Thirdly, mid-sem Test.
A D+, SERIOUSLY?! I mean, I did make some effort, although not 100% of it, to study and memorise all those shit. I just don't get why people who didn't study much could get an A and I'm down with a frigging D+. What kind of justice is this?

All of this shit is pissing me off so badly.
Projects and assignments with limited instructions and help, yet with expectation to do the best. Please, I'm not God. I'm not someone who can read your minds, my dear lecturers. Neither am I the kind of student who can just give you quality stuff without much info. Please, think about people like me? Or are you trying to say that people like me will just die in tertiary education? I don't pay thousands a year to get shit results, and useful help from you.

I know I haven't been putting in much effort since I've stepped into Poly.
I've blamed the lecturers for not being able to teach well. Yes, but half the time I'm distracted by my phone.
But I dare say that I have placed my 100% into all the projects I've done. But do I get back, in terms of results, for the amount of effort I've put in? Clearly not.
And I dare say that I do study myself at home when it comes to a exam approaching. I DID MAKE THAT EFFORT.

So what up about studying something you're interested in?
What up about knowing you'll put in effort and passion since it's a subject that interests you?
So what is education trying to screw us now? Making us lose interest in the things we like? Or trying to eliminate the lousy ones and only keeping the best with such inhumane system?

I'm so dampened now. Today has totally pissed me off.
It'd be funny if my GPA doesn't go down for this sem.
I'm starting to see no light at the end of the tunnel, and no hope in my education.

I'm on the verge of giving up. So much for a start of the new month.

Was about to fall asleep when Janette texted me to go to work. STEADY.

Service. Took over Cyril and DT with black face Mirza.

Stock up blahblahblah.

Amar and Helmi came before 11.30pm. MIRACLE AH SIOL. HAHA.

Spent 1.5h washing Milo. Pfft.

Turned around and suddenly saw Razmy with headset. LOL CHUA SAI HAHAHAHA.

Wanted to tell him something funny which I couldn't stop laughing. He and Helmi started laughing and went, "Do you always start laughing before telling the joke? Because I really don't know what you're talking about. I only hear you laughing." LOL!!!!!

I was so bored so I kept singing to him using the headset.
I was like, "We were both young when I first saw you~ EE, no la, too old." LOL!

Then I started singing Grenade and he was like, "Stupid, who will catch a Grenade?!"
Teng, "Oh Darling I would throw a grenade at ya!"
Razmy, "Yes, that's love baby!" LOL!!!

So I kept singing then he continued, "I would catch it and throw it back at ya~ That's the reason for catching a grenade man!" LOL!

Was looking at Helmi later and he suddenly went, "Handsome right?"
I looked a little longer and was like, "Er.. Got difference meh?"

Helmi, "YA, I shave ma!"

LOL NO DIFFERENCE CAN ROFL.

I kept asking where he was and he was like, "Oi, you keep uncle where are you. Every 30s you uncle where are you, uncle where are you. I'm behind you and you still asking me where am I?!" LOL!!!

Ended work and headed to Cafe. Silly Faiezin treated me a strawberry macaron frappe. AWW, thanks. (: Chatted with him and Fara for 30 minutes or so. haha. (:

Headed back to main store and talked to Helmi about changing store for 20 minutes. Influencing him to go to Tamp with me ah!! TEEHEE. (:

DT with Azuar and Lan. Azuar and I kept taking turns, swapping roles. TEEHEE.

& the regular Large Coke extra ice customer gave $10 ang pao! BLOODY HELL I WAS IN THE DT THEN WALKED AWAY INTO THE CREW ROOM SO I LOST THE ANG PAO! Azuar kept emphasizing that he took out 3 of it because he saw me but kept one since I walked away. WALAU EH PEK CEKKKKKKKK. $10 leh!! HOLY COW.

Oi Azuar, stop rubbing in ah. I take your ang pao then you know! HAHAHA.

DT with Hafika and chatted with her. haha!

I totally Happy New Year with one customer.

He ordered a large order of $40+. I was so distracted about explaining and refunding him the cost of an apple pie, that I got him to leave after giving him just the fries, drinks, and apple pie. Best part was I didn't even realise until I settled 2 cars. LOL OR WHAT?
I was so terrified, truthfully. But thank goodness they came back to get the other stuff. Thanks meowmeow for settling for me! (:

Off for visiting, the usuals.
Dad's side first. Reached and stoned. Nobody really talked to me, including the twins. :/

Saw Ah Mun Jie and I was totally shouldering her. HAHA AWW.

Cherie was running for DT and we were both shouting for products.

Chen was like, "这量个表姐妹在外面一直叫叫叫!" trolololol.

Started pouring like mad and customers were rushing in. Couldn't even find time to do stock up.

In addition, taking orders was a chore because of the thunder and the customers not being able to hear us. It was damn hilarious when one customer tried to ask for ice cream and Azuar had to repeat 5 times to let him know that there weren't any ice cream available. When he asked for milkshake and Azuar told him it was available, the customer went, "OH, MILKSHAKE DON'T HAVE?" twice. HAHAHAHAHAH.

Went into kitchen at 5pm. Happygurl94.

I think I've improved as an initiator. TEEHEE.

Kept dee siao-ing Ah Lim when she was at S2.

Large order like mad uh. 14 McCkn, 9 DBC all at once! But I did it like a man! WOOHOO. :P

Opening today. Had to go extra early to escort Aizat since it was his first day of attachment. HAHA.

& Smurfsmurf went to change his hairstyle to Helmi's previous hairstyle. NOT NICE LAAAAAA. Siao leh you Smurfsmurf! omg.

I was bai nian-ing to all the aunties in advance. HAHA.

Faisal came and I went, "Miss me not?"

Kelly got me to train Aizat for hotcakes. Asked her what I had to do after training him and she asked me to follow up for him. WAH SONG SIA.

She later wanted to swap me with Auntie Boon for counter because she said I wasn't so familiar with kitchen assembling, especially when I had to work solo. I told her I could do it and TADAH, KITCHEN LEH. UH UH SIOL~ HAHA.

Slammed a little. Madness! Had Lye Hoe to help me. Okie dokie.
Fathin came later. omg, after 1 year finally meet my abang again! haha. (:

He was paired up with me later while Lye Hoe went to S2. Awesomeness.

Talked a lot to kitchen aunties - Tay & Xiang, as well as abang and Aizat. Yayness.

After breakfast, became initiator. It was Fathin's first time so there were loads of things I had to take care of. I was literally trying my best to spam all the burgers. An attachment girl was placed in the middle to just, pack nuggest and wings. Not really a good idea because she was kindda blocking the lane. :/

But the whole process was cool because I could manage the many burgers, including the 5 DBC & 5 McCkn from DT. WALAU YOU ALL TAK MANDI OR WHAT?! hahahaha!!

Time passed super duper fast today man.

I was talking non-stop to all the kitchen people + Winwin. Kindda. HAHA.

Awesomest day at work. WEEKEND SOMEMORE. Shiok max. :D

Inter School Speech Contest

Participated in TP's Toastmaster's Club Inter School Speech Contest as recommended by Eddie.

Was surprised to learn that there were only 9 contestants. I seriously thought there was gonna be a crowd since it was opened to the whole of TP. Okay can. :/

Qualifying rounds was on Monday. Did a speech on "Looking Beyond The Surface Level".

Only managed to reach the green card, aka 3 minutes.

Was quite nervous when it came to the results but I made it into the finals. (:

Finals was today.

I was procrastinating about practicing my speech since I was so busy. What's worrying was that the speech had to be minimal of 5 minutes. Madness because I couldn't even do a 3 minute speech!

My speech was on "Life" and I guess the content was rich enough to inspire the audience.

I kindda panicked because I suddenly forgot my lines. Wanted to check my script but realised I didn't flip the page so I was like, "Uh okay can. Bomb." HAHAHAH. But managed to bomb properly. I think. haha.

Managed to reach the yellow card, aka, 6 minutes. Awesome!

Results out. AND YES, I HAVE DONE HSS PROUD. 1st. I think I won by the content, in which I have to thank Joy for helping me correct my horrible grammar. haha!

All in all, met really awesome people in the contest. One of which, Hafiz, who was my senior in ESSS, who also detest ESSS. HAHA. :P

Open House was a blast! After 2 days I've finally felt the TP spirit, and this time, I feel a sense of belonging unlike during FOC because I was hanging with people I know and adore so much. Thanks TP Chorale for the craziness. And especially so, for the mass dance right before our performance. My voice was in a super not right stage to be performing after all the screaming, shouting and laughing, I swear. HAHA.

Went to walk the open house with Kerfang later. He was trolling people. The first course he trolled was ECS and he actually talked to the course manager - Mr Ang. You baik. He wanted to troll A&F and I bumped into Ivan! LOLOLOL. Instantly trolled Ivan.

Ivan decided to follow us later to troll other people, but I swear Ivan super fail. He was asking hideous questions like, "So what's your GPA?" Omg seriously?!

Overall, the whole day was awesomeZz.

Starting to feel lazy at work. So tired of being a service crew that I'm finding opportunities to lay back.

2011 marked a new chapter of life. A chance for me to start afresh.

McDONALD'S

Spending the first half of the year (well, almost) in #04 ECP McD as a part timer but working more like a full timer has been really fruitful. Times where I got so tired of the job I'm posted to all the time and the complaints I was giving. But all in all, I'm really thankful for the times spent there. I've learnt how tough life is working as a service crew and how important speed can be.

Meeting new people, as well as getting the chance to bond with people that I usually touch and go with back then.

Some people I would really love to thank would be Ah Fook, Azuar, Lan, Raju. You guys are the bestest service crews to work with!

Special thanks would go to my favourite closies! The people I've finally met after my 2 years there. My energy at night, allowing me to have fun at 4am in the morning, make me laugh like mad when I just woke up and working at 7am. Elly, Smurfsmurf Firdaus, Mickey Mouse Helmi, dearest Joyce, Amar, Uncle Razmy, Uncle Rafid, Fara. I love every single one of you, and I appreciate all of you! Life in Poly was so rocky at first, but I'm glad I've gotten over that period.

There's no special person to thank, because I'm appreciative of every single one of you. Thank you for being such an awesome class. No other class would I want to be bonded into because you guys have made life so hyper and joyful.

Thank you for being so united and always there for me. Will never forget how you guys supported me for HSS Got Talents and PESA so adorably. Loves. (:

To Manning later. Practiced a little together with Ivan and Emaline.

Headed to the backstage soon and rested there. Had like 2.5hours there before the performance. Didn't get to rehearse on the piano and I was freaking out because the keys were super bouncy! The others were practicing their guitar and violin and I had nothing to do. :/

I swear Ivan is like God. He can play almost everything. crazyyyyyyyy.

Opening for the past few days. Service, of course.

Ha, opening is starting to get boring.

But on the other side, beats not getting to see my closies at all compared to being able to see them in the morning. Awesomest. (:

Was complained by an ang moh for my service today because she was being an ass and expected me to tell her everything. On the bright side, I served a number of really cute guys. Haven't seen so many cute guys in my 2.5 years at work there. I was supposed to be off yesterday but because the new boss was coming, I had to be present.

I was supposed to punch out at 10pm, but at 10pm she called to say that she was coming. BLOODY HELL SABO SIA.

Overslept for work today, again! GRR.

Had to cab down because I was working short hours and cannot afford to extend thanks to Choir practice in the afternoon. Surprisingly, my phone was super quiet and nobody called me. HAHA.

Work was amazingggg.

Reached @ 8 and saw Smurfsmurf and Rafid! OMGGGG. I instantly hugged them because I was so surprised that they were still present.

Was planted at DT runner, while Win Win took orders. TEEHEE. ((:

Looked at schedule and realised Faisal's name wasn't there! Omg, felt so devastated and cheated. HAHA. But he came in the end. WEEHEE. ((:

Was pulled out from DT later to do expediting because Faisal was in kitchen and Danilo couldn't stand Cary. Danilo, "You are better than my TM! You change uniform again la."

But runners were running their own counters and insisted that they do so. Told Danilo and he flared and shouted at them. Felt damn bad. But work was much easier later. Phew.

Rushed home, bathed, Choir then to Dance camp!

The whole camp was fun. Sleeping part was the best.

Pig Sandy was snoring throughout and I was like ARGH, WHY AM I SLEEPING BESIDE YOU?!

Reached there on time but punched in late.

Customer in like shit. Took over Shiyang as assembler since I didn't have a cap and Haidi went to get one for me.

Ah Choy went home then to initiator with Ah Lim. WOAH, KALANG KABOK. HAHAH. I think I a bit cmi when it comes to initiator ar. Bloody hell, 10 Doublecheeseburger + never ending orders. WHO TAK MANDI LA SIO. Omg. -.-!

Smurfsmurf did Backsink in the end and Meowmeow said I could do BF with Mickey, then Elly do counter. But in the end never also! WHUT IS THIS?!

Interacted with Rafid a lot too. He was in kitchen and I kept, "UNCLE UNCLE UNCLE" like a broken recorder. HAHA. LOVE YOU UNCLE. Razmy chup in so I was like, "UNCLE NUMBER 2!" LOL.

Headed to Jalan Besar Stadium alone and got the soccer tickets for SG vs M'SIA match for Faisal.
Imma power to get 6 tickets when one person is only allowed to purchase maximum 4. hahaha.

Met Wei De at 2 plus and headed to Cineleisure to meet his friends.
Lunch at Billy Bomber's for the first time. His treat. :D
A little awkward because his friends were present and was asking us to talk and not be so silent.

& omg la, Wei De just walked out of the restaurant without paying after dining there. Got a shock of my life man.

Headed for his church service later. CHC. omg awkward ttm can. They were all talking in Christian language and I didn't get a shit. There was one named, "My First Love" and his friend was saying to sing it to his future girlf and that girl, who may unfortunately be from the same church, diaos you like anything. He later tried singing that to his girlf and I'm like, "Please la, not funny already.." HAHA.

They later talked about the losing conscious thing, about how the pastor might smack a $10 note to the youth, or maybe place a knife at the back and go, "Are you gonna fall dead?" and the youths shaking and crying in agreement. LOL!

YMCA - PS Competition today!

Went to school and class was like, "WOO, Yuan Teng so pretty!"

Renee, "Eh, you got sun burn ar?" It's blusher! Omg damn fail. LOL!!

Cherie was uber nervous. Went in and registered. It was a lot thing for the arrangements for speaking. Cherie picked first and she got a 1. Made her go mad instantly and I was trying to calm her down so badly! I got a 13. Mind goes, "OOSH, please don't be unlucky. ):"

Oh yes, the whole speech was a minimum 3minute, maximum 5minute. Likka what right?! If you don't meet that requirement, you're disqualified. Omg la.

So anyway, Cherie went first. She was super nervous. I was trying so hard to smile and show my thumbs up to keep her going. Sadly, she accidentally spurt out a "I'm sorry, can I redo it?" She came down and cried while Miss Lin Da consoled her.
It's okay Cherie, you were good! Just nervous. You're awesome ya. :D

I was cool all the way. But, I started shivering after the 10th contestant.

The people there were scary. Rino (TPJC), also the second contestant, totally blew me off with his first line. Ang moh shit!! I was totally half defeated because I didn't have an ang moh accent. HAHA. Ern Chuen (RVHS) was good too! He had the longest speech because he said he thought it was 7.5 minutes and was cutting down like shit. Laughs!

There was a 10 minutes break so I didn't go up. In other words, I was the first after the break. The sandwiches were nice. But damn, I was controlling not to consume it because I was afraid since I was going up next. Was a little nervous, but trying to make myself hyper and mad by going crazy with fellow G1C02 peeps. Hugged them like mad to cool myself down. Rachael gave me a hug too. Aww.. (:

Went up the stage. *awkward silence* HAHAHAH.

Started the speech. Was trying to control my movements. I know I was still for a moment in the middle. That was because I forgot my lines!! I forgot a line for the question part which was my actions part!! I talked about the games before I talked about the advantages and disadvantages. Omg much. When I finally remembered the whole chunk of information which I missed out, I stammered at the word "disadvantage". Zomg. I was looking at G1C02 and Miss Lin Da. I caught the Dunman High girl smiling at me. So nice right! HAHAHAHA. Had hardly any response during my speech, but it's okay la. :D

Miss Lin Da came up to me later and said I was good. I told them I forgot my lines and they said it wasn't obvious and they didn't even know about it. (: Ended, sent G1C02 out and back for comments + photo taking. Bonded with the first row people because the ITE guy beside me was zz..

Overall, great experience. Met new people and they were awesome.

Crew Outing '11

I failed in skipping school.

Anyway, was the last crew to reach for crew outing.

Joined Group 2 in the games and started with round 3 - pass the message via action.

Not very fun, but it was rather entertaining. rofl.

Group 1 won for this round.

Round 4 was about putting the shoes in the middle and mixing them up, and everybody had to chiong and get back their shoes. I was telling them to take whatever shoes they see. Before Kristine even shouted to start, everybody already chiong. LOL! Damn hiong and funny. Waldrik most epic I swear. His NIKE shoe base was torn. HAHAHAHA. FUNNY LIKE A BLACK.

Kristine took me and Faisal's vacancies and Faisal woke her up. Like damn bad lol.

Was sleeping at the corner and I swear it felt like I was gonna fall any time, which wasn't that way until Kristine took our vacancy! Bloody hell. hahahahaha. Kept asking Faisal to move in if I woke up in the middle of the night.

Slept throughout the night. Shiok like an anything.

Meowmeow woke us up at 9.30 to clean up and pack up.

Checked out. Had breakfast at Asli Village.

Kristine kept talking about how she woke up in the middle of night, asking where Faisal and I went and thought we didn't want to sleep anymore and hence, took the bed. Then talked about how we woke her up, and she had to ask Haidi to move but failed, so she had to carry his head and ask him to share pillow with someone else. hahahaha.

Overall, the outing was damn fail. As compared to last year's.

Food fail. Game fail. Social fail. Photos fail. Sigh.

Only thing that was fun was 7 people sharing 2 beds. HAHAHA.

p/s, Faisal went back to smoking and I was so maojrly turned off and felt like crying. Why does this happen at EVERY crew outing. Last year also like that!

Slept at 8am and woke up at 4pm. Danilo called me to ask me to work at 6pm instead of closing. Hesitated for a moment and agreed to that.

Did DT with ah Fook. First time doing runner/OT with him siol.

Counter cock up so was super inconvenient as we had to use POS 11 to take orders and collect payment. Gave Ivy a suggestion as to remove the drawer and put it in DT, so that it'll be easy for Ah Fook when it comes to collecting payment, and also, we wouldn't need to wait for each other to take order/collect payment when ordering and taking payment.

After Ivy finally understood my plan, she was totally owned la. Ah Fook was agreeing that it was convenient too. Ivy, "Ya la, you very smart la. Go be manager okay. If not then promote to CL la hor." LOL!! :x

DT all the way. 11pm Jessica got me to do runner instead. Zz.

Went to take fast bite after Ivy reprimanded me for not eating. :x

Went into crew room and saw Smurfsmurf! I practically shouted for him la! He was giving the stunned + wtf face. LOL!

Jessica asked me to extend till 4am. Agreed.

She later asked me to extend till morning. I'm like whuuuuut. Overheard that there's large order and I immediately went, "You let me do kitchen and I extend for you!" MUAHAHA.

Hence, runner + short stock up. Customer keep in like shit. Plus Kristine tak mandi siol, keep tio large order. -.-

4am went inside kitchen. Smurfsmurf asked me to take a break first. Got him to teach me to cook round eggs. HEHE. Started wrapping a little but counter kept taking so doing large order = not doing. ZZ.

I ended up toasting muffin only since that was the only thing I was familiar with.

I cooked the eggs the second time and Smurfsmurf said they were great. I cooked the next 2 times but they were freaking raw. Realised later that it was because I didn't spray oil and I'm like, "YOU NEVER SAY WHAT!" LOL.

Chionged all the way. Jessica said if it was Helmi, confirm can finish on time. Like hello, I'm working for 13h leh. It's not my fault all the orders were SME what. ZZ.

Finished the large order at 6.30am when it was supposed to be done by 5.40am.
Jessica later asked me to help counter and I'm like wtb much. Smurfsmurf asked me to take a rest and had Iced milo together with him. (:

Went to sweep toilet and off to crew room to rest.

Smurfsmurf kept telling the aunties that he's very lucky because he had me to help him today.

Was doing counter. Did counter + runner all at once at night.

Served this super demanding, annoying old man. He came and asked for my name. Told him a few times before he finally caught it. He later commented that the font for my nametag should be larger. After he completed his order, he demanded for a cup of hot water. Shiyang got it from him and he demanded, again, for the cap and said that he might scald himself and would sue McDonald's. When his order was done, I was still having the same broad smile on my face and he went, "You are a cheerful girl. Very good. Happy for you." WAH, HIS TONE BLOODY SARCASTIC YOU MEI YOU? ._.

After awhile, he came back again to place more orders. This time, he demanded a cup of ice. Gave him the XS cup and a cap for it. He was shouting and saying that a cap is not needed since it was ice and it wouldn't scald him. He added a, "Very good. You learn fast. Should promote you!" Right..

Punched out @ 11pm. Ate a little bit and started on assignments while waiting for Meowmeow to end his shift. After his shift, he spent like 2hours sorting out cash la! Slept awhile in manager's room then went out to walkwalk since it was super cold.

Went into kitchen and took a cinnamon which Jon caught me and asked why i didn't ask him. I'm like hello, I work here. On top of that, this is closing. No rules apply yaw.

Spot a pack of cigarettes and started playing with it. Elly was teaching me how to smoke. LOL. He was saying must crack the thingy and he let me hear it crack. Then he kept saying menthol rocks and asked me to put it in my mouth and bite it, and that it tasted like chewing gum. Super tempted but no. HAHA. Had NTUC First Campus's interview yesterday. Was with Class 3's people. The online test was totally crap. The logical test wasn't logical and the verbal test wasn't, verbal. -.- I practically screwed up the whole thing so, oh well.

Had group discussion and interview too. I think I did quite okay for group discussion. I THINK.

Interview was cool too. I accidentally told the person my life story because I mentioned about Jinyang. haha!

Had MCYS/PCF interview today. Damn boring interview. Totally not like an interview at all.

Went in with Faith and Hui Ying and listened to the people talk. Likka zz.

Went for the Public Speaking screening after that. I was the first to present. Nervous, but I think I did okay. Miss Linda said that i sounded confident and Rachael gave me a thumbs up. Awesome much? (:

Impromptu speech was on recommendation of movies. I wanted to do Inception but the guy before me did already so I went ahead with The Proposal. I think I screwed up that speech because it's super boring and disorganized. Dayum. D:
